Florida Teacher Guilty of Drug Smuggling - Update

(Palm Beach, Florida) Broward County teacher Tarakiki Dozier has pleaded guilty to conspiring to import marijuana during a hearing in federal court.

A sentencing date has not been reported.

(Pembroke Park, Florida) A local teacher, Tarakiki Dozier, has been arrested for drug smuggling.

Dozier, 39, of Margate, is charged with conspiracy to import marijuana, importation of marijuana, conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.

She pleaded not guilty to all counts Friday in federal court in West Palm Beach.

Reportedly, Dozier smuggled marijuana into Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
