New Mexico Teacher Accused of Relations with Girl

(Albuquerque, New Mexico) A 25-year-old physical education teacher and coach with Mora County Schools, Mandi-Ann Casados, has been accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old female student.

According to a criminal complaint the 14-year-old player’s mom contacted police after she found more than 500 text messages on her daughters cell phone between her and Casados.

Police say one of the texts Casados sent to the girl was a picture of her with a hickey on her neck. Others messages talked about the two being in love, kissing and almost getting caught.

Casados has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
